Tasks, notes and due dates can be created without signing in. The local database remains the foundation even when there is no connection.

Sync is an additional choice

People who want to connect multiple devices can use optional Pro sync in the upcoming V2. Groups, tasks and subtasks are synced. Reminders and timers stay local to each device.

Backups still matter

Sync and backup solve different problems. A local export remains a useful additional copy, especially before changing devices or installing a major update.
