Why four lists are often enough to begin
Good structure does not come from as many folders as possible. It comes from a few places with a clear purpose.

Start with everyday life
Inbox, Personal, Work and Someday already form a complete first structure for many workflows. Tasks land in a familiar place quickly and can be refined later.
Structure should save work
Every additional list creates a decision. If entering a task starts with searching for the correct place, a task manager loses the advantage of quick capture.
- Name lists after real areas of responsibility.
- Keep rare topics in a collection list at first.
- Expand only when the current structure repeatedly gets in the way.
More room when it is needed
CleanTasks V2 includes up to four lists in the free experience. Unlimited lists are part of Pro. The starting point remains useful while more involved systems can grow deliberately.
